The initial pain point that connected Geneto and Mobi Lab was related to database synchronization; specifically the Android application was not able to sync correctly with the latest version of the database available in the backend.
The problem was solved within the first few weeks of working together. Now, quite some time later, the relationship has moved forward, with a period of development on both platforms and later on providing a mixed suite of services necessary for any mature, scaling product.
One of the main values that Mobi Lab has been able to deliver to Geneto and Elisa has been versatility and flexibility on an ongoing basis. This is because the Mobi Lab team is well versed at listening to clients needs and adapting the work planned according to the Agile methodology.
The code quality is another major improvement provided by the Mobi Lab team. Refactoring is a process that takes time to bear its fruit, which comes in the form of faster development momentum and less bugs affecting the digital product.
The product is unique as it not only helps to detect, but also makes it possible to prevent lifestyle diseases by giving actionable and practical feedback – a pocket tool for everyday use, to be the healthiest version of oneself.
Elisa Eesti is Geneto’s strategic R&D, sales and marketing partner. All app development ideas are initiated and designed in symbiosis between Elisa and Geneto. Analysis, testing and development is done in partnership with Mobi Lab.
