Revolutionising the smart house market through cross-border innovation between an Estonian technology company and a Latvian house-building company to strengthen regional competitiveness in export markets.
The Smart Tiny House project seeks to streamline the smart home offering by developing standardised, pre-designed packages that are affordable, integrated, and easy to install. Currently, bespoke smart home solutions are often too costly and complex for the tiny house market; this project bridges that gap by combining high-quality Northern European construction with advanced digital interfaces.
Mobi Lab, a technology SME, aims to develop a scalable Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform and hardware kits, while tinyhouse.lv will focus on integrating these technologies into high-quality tiny houses and building a demo pilot-house to test and showcase the results.
The main outputs—a scalable smart house software platform, hardware kits, and a functional demo house—will benefit both partners directly by boosting their market value and export potential. Other SMEs and the general public will benefit indirectly through the creation of a tested, sustainable model for affordable and energy-efficient smart living.
The project "Standardised integrated smart house packages" is implemented with the support of the Interreg Estonia-Latvia programme!
